Verla's site for writers is magnificent. If you can't find the information
you're seeking there, you won't find it anywhere. If you're serious about
writing for children, you must bookmark this site...NOW.

I can vouch for this series of workshops. I attended The Heart of the
Novel workshop with Patti Gauch. I learned more about writing there
than anywhere else. The workshops are pricey, but, in my opinion, worth it.

The Institute of Children's Literature website is maintained by Jan Fields.
She's the
same incredibly talented founder of Kidmagwriters above. They have an open chat
room to discuss writing and regularly scheduled events in the chat room. If you
can't make one of their scheduled chats, be sure to check out heir extensive
transcripts. (My
